Affirmations in your own voice are lines spoken so they sound like you, not like a narrator. In bigUP you record or upload a sample, and the app plays personalized affirmations back in a clone of that voice.

How the audio is made
You can only upload a recording you own. bigUP keeps that sample so it can build a voice clone. You still own the recording. The app has permission to use it to create affirmations.
The words and the voice are made by different systems. OpenAI writes the script on bigUP's servers from details you provide, such as a goal, your name, mood, interests, and saved preferences. Your email, voice samples, recordings, and voice clone are not sent to OpenAI.
Hume and ElevenLabs then speak the script. They receive the words, and they may receive the voice-clone audio needed to play it back. They do not receive the notes that were sent to OpenAI to write the script.
Why hear it, instead of only reading it
An audio affirmation can play while you get ready or walk, so the line does not depend on you remembering to open a note. You can say it along with the track. A loop keeps that one sentence going. A voice that sounds like you is harder to tune out than a narrator.
What you actually hear
A daily affirmation is today's track in your voice. One tap plays a line written around you, in the style of “Olivia is enough.” Categories cover situations such as anxiety relief, self love, career and money, and dating.
A robotic affirmation is narrower. You keep one short line, play it on a loop, and tap each time you say it. The daily track is for a session. The robotic line is the sentence you are trying to install.
Accounts, premium, and credits
You need an account for most of the app, and you sign in with Google or Apple. You have to be 13 or older.
A subscription unlocks daily new affirmations and the audio library. Premium subscribers also get 8 credits a week for custom audio. Credits are not cash, and they cannot be transferred. If the subscription ends, you lose access to creating new audio and to audio you already created. Unused credits stay on the account if you subscribe again.
Deleting the clone
Deleting the account removes the profile, the cloned voice, preferences, goals, scripts, and audio affirmations. The voice-clone profile is also deleted from Hume and ElevenLabs. The steps are on the delete account page: Profile, then Manage Account, then Delete Account.
